OBJECTIVE 1) To protect the nation’s interest and protect Pakistan, to uphold and enforce criminal law and law Enforcement in the country.
VISION A law enforcement agency which not only enjoys the respect of the society, for its integrity, professional competence and impartiality but also serves as a role model for provincial police forces.
WINGS OF FIA 1) COUNTER TERRORISM WING(CTW) : To protect terrorism be it cyber, electronic, chemical, bioterrorism and nuclear terrorism…
2) ANTI-CORRUPTION WING(ACW) : Tasked with undertaking investigation and combat corruption at level of command..
3) Economic Crime wing(ECW) : Protection of people from Economic Terrorism and protection of intellectual property rights of the people..
4) Immigration wing(IW) : To combat human trafficking and resist illegal immigration in Pakistan
5) Technical Wing(TW) : Tasked to protect Pakistan against foreign intelligence operations and Espionage and also using scientific assistance to solve high – technology crime..
6) Legal Branch(LB) : Responsible to provide legal guidance to all administrative and operational matters as well as protect civil rights.
7) National Central Bureau(NCB) : Tasked to combat national / international criminal organizations and enterprises with assistance from interpol and FBI.
8) Anti Trafficking Unit (ATU) : Tasked to combat major violent crime, to ensure country-wide coverage of human trafficking, as well as to prevent and protect the victims of trafficking..
HOW IT WORKS:
1) DG appointed by PM and confirmed by President
2) Reports to secretary interior

4) 10 directors
5) In 2002 a new wing to combat as Information and Communication technology related crimes. This wing is commonly known as National Response Center for Cyber Crimes ( NR3C)
6) This wing of FIA boasts state of the art Forensic Laboratries manged by highly qualified Forensic Experts and is Specialized in Electronic, Mobile, Cell-Phone, Database investigation , information system audit and Research and Development..

DG FIA Dr Snaullah Abassi inaugurated E- investigation program in FIA ( Islambad Zone), as a pilot project for the ease of complainents/ witnesses and alleged person.. 4 January 2022.

Article 5. Power of MEMBER OF Agency
Subarticle (3). ANY member of Agency not below the rank of Sub-inspector authorized by the Director General in his behalf may arrest a person without warrant who has committed or against whom a reasonable suspicion exists that he has committed the crime.
ANF It is a federal executive Bureau of GoP which is empowered to combat the narcotics Smuggling and use within Pakistan. It works under umbrella of Pak Army and Narcotics Control.

Function of ANF:
1)To inquire, investigate and prosecute all offences related to or connected with intoxicants, narcotics or precursors.
2) Trace and freeze the assets
3) Coordinate and eliminate Poppy Cultivation
4) Provide assistance to other law enforcement agencies and provide information with all national and international agencies on drug related matters
5) Arange and coordinate traing of own members and other personals of law enforcement agencies
6)Maintain laison with all international narcotics control and represent pakistan in conferences and seminars
7)Other task assigned by federal gov.
